10 thoughts on Whole Living

Whole Living Magazine aka Body and Soul

I was going through all my magazines yesterday, I have way to many, for images to cut out and save for my vision boards.  I love this magazine by Martha Stewart Publishing.  I’ve stopped reading her other magazine but this one compliments my current way of thinking.  It’s all about organic, local food, exercises and decorating.

The 1 article I used to really love was called “10 thoughts”, it was 10 points summarizing the main articles of that months magazine.  These points can be very inspirational and I’ve found myself cutting them out and clipping them to the lamp shade on my desk on more than one occasion.  For some reason they decided to pull this page from the magazine.  Apparently, I’m not the only one who really liked this page, and due to over whelming  response they are reinstating it.

Yesterday as I puttered through the magazines, I came across one of these pages and I thought it might be worth sharing.  The points are good for everyday and I don’t believe that you need to read the articles for them to make sense to you.  So here is the list from the March 2010 issue of Body & Soul soon to be known as Whole Living.

10 Thoughts on Whole Living

1) Take the guilt out of pleasure. Sometimes the thing you want most is just what you need.
2) You can’t force flexibility.  It’s about releasing and opening gradually.
3) Invest in experiences, not just objects.
4) Don’t over think: Some happy moments are best left unanalyzed.
5) Real intimacy is expressed not with more words but with meaningful ones.
6) Try a little less housework and a little more sleep.
7) To find  your strength, push past your comfort zone.
8) Rather than just beautifying your skin, nourish it.
9) Finding answers to your health issues won’t come from feeding your fears.
10) Sometimes getting lost is the only way to figure out where you really are.

Of course some of the points resonate more than others.  If you have an opportunity to pick up a copy of this magazine I hope you will, there are some excellent articles in it.

Dream Big,
